Third or fourth degree heat (thermal) burns

An employee was welding on some carbon steel with a MIG welder when his right hand caught on fire. As he tried to put out the fire, his other hand caught on fire. He suffered second and third degree burns.

An employee was operating a gas power chop saw cutting concrete. When the gas cap came off, the chop saw caught on fire. Gas splashed onto the employee and the employee suffered second and third degree burns to his legs, back, stomach, and arms.
