An employee was operating an overhead crane to move an I-beam that was 30 to 40 feet long. Half of the beam was outside, while the other half was inside. The employee was walking beside the I-beam when a gust of wind started to move the beam, causing it to strike and pin the employee against a wall. The employee sustained chest and internal injuries, requiring hospitalization.
