An employee was rinsing the inside of a tank with water from a 1-inch hose. The water pressure surged and the hose whipped around. Its metal nozzle struck the employee’s head and face, causing a fracture to the right mandible, a head laceration on the right side of the head behind the ear, and trauma to the right side of the head.
