Report: Struck by object falling from vehicle or machinery-other than vehicle part at Thompson Pipe Group Pressure in Lubbock, Texas

An employee was transferring a 54′ pipe that weighed 12,000 pounds with an airlift cart when the pipe rolled off the cart to the ground. As he attempted to stop it from striking another employee, he was struck by the pipe resulting in a pelvic fracture.
