Report: Struck by object falling from vehicle or machinery-other than vehicle part at SPN Well Services Rigs in Crane, Texas

An employee had been in a derrick helping a snubbing unit crew change out a stiff arm. He was coming down from the derrick when the snubbing unit dropped the short stiff arm, which then caught his left index finger against the handrail. He suffered an open compound fracture to his finger.
