Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Lewis Energy Group in Encinal, Texas

A crew member was attempting to remove a blockage in a 2″ discharge line on mud pump #2 when it released, striking him in the right calf and knocking him to the ground. The crew member was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation and treatment and then transferred to another hospital for surgery and further treatment.
