Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Western Forge & Flange Co. in Cleveland, Texas

An employee was handling a metal part as it was being forged in a forging hammer when the part shattered. A hot metal shard shot out of the forging hammer and punctured the employee’s abdomen, causing internal damage. He was hospitalized.
