Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Flex-Chem Corporation in Pecos, Texas

An employee was holding a hose during the filling of a storage tank. A valve blew apart and the hose backlashed, striking the employee on the left side of the face. The employee sustained a broken jaw and facial lacerations. The employee was hospitalized.
