Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Bison Specialty Services in Beaumont, Texas

An employee was hydroblasting when the sprinkler head malfunctioned. Water shot out of the hose at 18,000 psi, blowing off a piece of pipe and tubing. The piece impaled an employee’s left leg, breaking the tibia.
