Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Miller Tubular Service, LLC in Midland, Texas

Employees were performing a drill pipe inspection using an x-ray/ultrasonic test. A forklift was picking up pipes; its boom pressed down on two joints of pipe, and when the pipes were raised they jumped off the pipe rack, striking and breaking an employee’s left tibia and fibula.
