Report: Struck by discharged object or substance at Bob White Energy Services in Port Lavaca, Texas

An employee was attempting to pump water into a natural gas line. After he was given the “all clear” sign by the pipeline supervisor, he opened a water valve and was instantly struck and injured by pressurized water. The gas line was not de-energized at the time.
