An employee was walking a property, “chasing wires” to find a controller that was not working properly with the irrigation system (sprinklers). The employee was walking down stairs when he slipped on the last step, turning on his left foot. He lost balance and stumbled, but did not fall to the ground. The employee sustained a pinched nerve in the lower spine.
