Report: Pedestrian struck by vehicle in nonroadway area, unspecified at McAda Drilling Fluids, Inc. in Bay City, Texas

On May 15, 2018, at about 4:40 p.m., two employees were using a forklift to transport a frac tank onto a flatbed trailer. The tank was placed on a metal plate positioned on the forks of the forklift. During transport, the frac tank and metal plate shifted, striking the two employees. One employee sustained two fractured knuckles to the left hand, requiring hospitalization.
