Report: Pedestrian struck by vehicle backing up in nonroadway area at AUC Group, L.P. in Katy, Texas
DATE: 01/26/15
A temporary worker for AUC Group (worker #1) was walking to his truck to leave for the day. Another worker for AUC Group (worker #2) was backing out a truck owned by AUC Group. Worker #2 struck worker #1 with the vehicle. Worker #1 sustained back injuries caused by the accident, which required a surgical procedure to repair the damage. Worker #1 spent one night in the hospital.
