Report: Pedestrian struck by vehicle backing up in nonroadway area at McCarthy Building Company, Inc. in Austin, Texas

While helping offload concrete traffic barriers at a construction site, two employees were struck by a flatbed truck as it backed up. One of them suffered a broken right foot and ankle and was hospitalized, undergoing surgery.
