Report: Pedestrian struck by forward-moving vehicle in nonroadway area at International Paper in Amarillo, Texas
DATE: 12/28/17
An employee was setting up a roll of paper in the roll stand at the wet end of a corrugator while a clamp truck operator was carrying a paper roll nearby. The truck operator then pinned the injured employee between the roll stand and the paper roll. The employee suffered pelvic fractures, a left ankle dislocation, and ligament damage in the right kneecap, requiring hospitalization.
