An employee was operating a forklift truck. His left hand was outside the cage area of forklift as he was moving parallel to a storage rack. He positioned his left hand on one of the rack beams and then slightly turned the truck with his right hand. The truck maneuvered at an angle, and the rear cage frame struck his left hand.
