OSHA Injury Reports

This OSHA Injury Report was compiled directly from data that is publicly available from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA Injury Reports can be helpful in understanding the types of workplace injury claims involving defective products or malfunctioning equipment in the workplace. 

The manufacturers of defective equipment or machinery resulting in a worker injury may be found to be negligent and liable for damages in a separate civil lawsuit. Report: Struck by falling object or equipment, unspecified at Manhattan Construction Company in Arlington, Texas

At 11:00 a.m. on June 14, 2019, an employee of Manhattan Construction Company (MCC) and an employee of Centennial Moisture Control were in a yard when a piece of corrugated metal decking fell onto them from about 140 feet above, knocking them to the ground. The MCC employee suffered significant facial trauma and was hospitalized.
