Report: Other fall to lower level more than 30 feet at Jordan Foster Construction in El Paso, Texas
DATE: 08/17/19
A telehandler operator was lifting a finishing machine to the third floor to be used to finish the concrete floor. The operator was trying to get the finisher over the safety cables and went to push the safety cable down. As the operator was pushing the safety cable down, one of the uprights holding up the safety cable detached from the angle iron causing the operator to fall approximately 30 feet. The employee suffered a fractured pelvis and liver damage.
