An employee was going to turn the power off of an air conditioning unit located in the receiving area of the warehouse. The employee got into a bucket that was on top of a wooden pallet on the high-lift. The high-lift was extended about 25 feet into the air. As the employee reached towards the air conditioning unit, he stepped to the left side (front) of the bucket and the bucket slid off the high-lift. The employee fell to the concrete floor, landed on his left side (back), and hit his head on the floor. He suffered a laceration to the back of his head and severe back pain.
