Report: Other fall to lower level 11 to 15 feet at Howard Energy Partners in Corpus Christi, Texas

An employee was on the safety platform on top of a tank car tightening up the bolts on a hatch with a ratchet. While turning the ratchet, the socket came off the bolt causing the employee to fall backwards approximately 15 feet to the ground. The employee was hospitalized for a back injury.
