Report: Other animal bites, nonvenomous at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas

DATE: 10/27/17

An employee was feeding a military dog. The employee approached the kennel, placed the pan on the floor, and unlatched the gate to allow the military dog to come out to eat. Before the employee could get the gate closed, the military dog bypassed the gate and bit the employee on the left side of the abdomen, right wrist, palm, and pinky finger, causing pressure bites, punctures, and multiple lacerations.
