An employee was operating a yard tractor when he turned sharply and made abrupt contact with some bundles of pipe. The yard tractor was picked up by the momentum and then slammed down, shaking the employee in the process. He suffered head lacerations and a broken vertebra, requiring hospitalization. PPE was worn at the time.
