Report: Fall, slip, trip, unspecified at Coastal Drilling Company in New Iberia, Louisiana

Employees were using an air hoist to remove the cover from a rotary transmission when the cover became stuck on a 5-gallon bucket. As an employee attempted to push the cover free from the bucket, the cover fell on top of his right arm. His right arm was trapped between the bucket and cover, crushing tissue and muscles. He then fell and fractured a bone in his left hand.
