An employee was performing preventative maintenance on a trimmer and when he went to lower the saw box platform, the pin holding the platform became stuck. The employee hammered at the pin, and when the pin dislodged, the platform swung down and hit the employee. The employee suffered a smashed upper arm with swelling and numbness.
