Report: Caught in running equipment or machinery during regular operation at Fiberglass Systems in San Antonio, Texas

An employee was operating the fiberglass pipe end abrasive wheel grinder. The grinder has a copper pipe that sprays water onto the abrasive wheel when it sands the fiberglass pipe. The employee struck the pipe with a piece of wood to remove a clog. His hand slipped, and his right index finger was grinded on the face of the abrasive wheel.
