Report: Caught in running equipment or machinery during regular operation at Power Rigs, LLC in Arnett, Oklahoma

A drilling rig was tripping out of the well. The derrick employee was moving the top of a pipe stand to the racking fingers when the employee’s retractable lanyard line was caught by the descending top drive and he was pulled to his knees on the derrick platform. The employee sustained a left knee fracture and vascular damage to the left thigh.
