Soreness, pain, hurt-nonspecified injury

An employee was attempting to reinstall the connecting bar for a pressure-actuated rail greaser. He was picking up the bar from the middle joint when the joint unexpectedly straightened and injured his finger.

An employee was climbing a stationary ladder when he fell and landed on his back.

An employee was working under a truck. When he removed the drive shaft, the vehicle began to roll backwards. The truck’s catalytic converter then struck his chest area, injuring his ribs and clavicle. He was hospitalized.
