Numbness-nonspecified injury

While hooking up cargo (wood pulp) in a vessel, an employee walked into one of the landing gear legs of the spreader bar, knocking his hard hat off and causing his head to go backwards. His neck and right arm became numb and he could not move his right-hand fingers.

An employee was hooking a trailer when he felt something pop in his back. He experienced numbness and paralysis from the chest down, requiring hospitalization and surgery.

Employee was lifting a box about 10 lbs. and her arm went numb.
