Herniated discs

An employee was putting a boomer on a trencher with a ratchet. When he stood up, his back seized up. He was hospitalized with a bulging disc and pinched nerve in his back.

While rewiring equipment on top of a larger cooler, an employee walked from one cooler to another and tripped, falling forward, then off the cooler and onto the ground approximately 8 feet below. The employee sustained facial lacerations and three herniated discs in the neck.

An employee suffered a ruptured neck disc while using a 3-pound metal scraper to clean the coating roller on a printing unit.
