Fractures

An employee rolled her ankle while walking, felling and sustained fractures to the lower tibia and fibula near the ankle joint.

An employee was doing cornice work from a 20-foot scaffold. He fell from the scaffold to the ground, landing on his face and shoulder and suffering broken bones. He was hospitalized.

The injured employee was assisting another employee with removing a pin from a mini-excavator. When the pin came out, it struck the injured employee’s left hand causing a fractured wrist and a tendon/ligament injury. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.

An employee slipped and fell in a staff bathroom. Her left shoulder struck the wall between the table and the toilet and was broken.
