Fractures

An employee was struck by a forklift that was backing out of a trailer on a warehouse dock, suffering a broken right leg.

Two employees were in a fabrication shop, working on opposite ends of a 30×150 steel beam. One of them reached out to push/stop the beam as he was trying to move out of its path, but the bottom flange caught his left foot, causing a laceration and broken bones. He was hospitalized.

Two employees were in a scissor lift surveying storm damage on a roof panel. One of the employees fell from the lift cage to the concrete below and fractured their back.

An employee had removed an extension rod from a load and was about to put a shorter extension in its place. The load tipped over and fell on his right arm, pinching it between the metal staging rack and the retort of the load. The employee suffered a broken bone above the elbow.
