Trammell Law Firm becomes Trammell-Piazza Law Firm

(September 13, 2013) One of the most exciting shifts in the Arkansas legal community took place this month when Melody Piazza joined Chad Trammell as a full and named Partner. With the alliance, the law firm is now known as Trammell-Piazza Law Firm, PLLC. Chad and Melody are two of the most experienced and respected trial lawyers in the State of Arkansas. The firm is also thrilled to announce the opening of an additional office in Little Rock.

Chad is ecstatic about joining forces with Melody. “Melody Piazza is known as one of the most tenacious and feared litigators in Arkansas.  And she is respected by her peers on both the Plaintiff and Defense sides of the Bar.  Her reputation is impeccable. It’s a great honor to me that she has joined me in the practice of law as my Partner. With our combined experience and track record, we offer our clients first-rate representation.”

A 1985 graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, Melody was a long-time Prosecuting Attorney for Pulaski County, trying some of the most high-profile cases in the state’s history. Melody’s career has spanned 28 years, and she has been honored and recognized many times. In 1994 Arkansas Business recognized Melody as one of the Top 40 young and up-and-coming leaders in Arkansas under the age of 40. In 2001, Melody joined the Little Rock office of Wilkes and McHugh and took over as its managing attorney in 2009. Melody is married to The Honorable Chris Piazza, Circuit Judge in Pulaski County, and they have one son, Sam, who is 13 and attends Holy Souls Catholic School in Little Rock.

When asked for comment, Melody said, “I’ve known Chad for many years both professionally and personally. We complement each other well, and I can’t think of a better lawyer to be my partner. We have real court-room experience and a track record that not many lawyers can match. We will make a great team.”

Both Chad and Melody have been peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell as pre-eminent litigators, both achieving a 5.0 out of 5.0 AV rating.
