Report: Vehicle or machinery fire at Hammett Excavation Inc. in Ferris, Texas

An employee was refueling his equipment (track-hoe) when he noticed a few sparks occur once he touched the fuel nozzle to the neck of the fuel tank opening. He went to pull the nozzle out and a burst of flames shot out, causing burns on his right arm and the right side of his face.
