An employee was helping a coworker remove a forklift that was lodged in the mud. The employee bent over to place boards for traction under the front wheels of the forklift. The coworker used another forklift to lift the lodged forklift out of the mud when the fork slipped off of the wheel frame and struck the employee above the left eye.
