An employee was standing near a flat bed trailer while conductor reels were loaded onto the flat bed. A reel came off the spreader beam, dropped and rolled onto the employee’s legs. The reel was removed from his legs with a fork lift. The employee suffered lacerations and a fractured leg and ankle.
