Report: Struck by falling object or equipment, n.e.c. at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Dumas, Texas

An employee was performing maintenance on a wheel loader (front-end loader) and removed an access plate to the bottom of the engine compartment. After the fasteners were removed, the access plate fell to the floor and crushed the employee’s forearm between the plate and the floor. The employee suffered damage to the muscle and connective tissue (no broken bones).
