Report: Struck by dislodged flying object, particle at Kayoi Steel Group America in Vinton, Texas

After recharging the furnace, there was an explosion inside the furnace. An employee was hit by a hot piece of scrap metal that flew out of the furnace while he was using the lance. The scrap metal struck the employee in the left shoulder near the arm pit.
