An employee was picking up trash on the roadway. She finished picking up the trash and got into the truck. A blanket in the truck blew out onto the road. She stopped the truck, pulled into the emergency lane, and got out to retrieve the blanket when she was struck by a passing pickup truck. She sustained extensive head trauma.
