An employee was trying to stabilize a leaning stacked pallet. He climbed the nearby roof access stairs and was reaching to straighten the pallet when he fell over the stair railing about 10 feet and landed on his back on the floor below. The employee was hospitalized for surgery to repair fractures to his back.
