Report: Other fall to lower level 16 to 20 feet at Advance Concrete Surfacing in Austin, Texas

An employee was installing flashing on a concrete deck floor to waterproof it. The employee leaned on a guardrail while attempting to reach a section of work just outside the balcony guardrails. As he leaned on the guardrail, it gave way and he fell approximately 20 feet to the ground floor, breaking his left wrist and requiring surgery.
