Emily Hoover graduated valedictorian of Texas High School in Texarkana, TX in 2012. She then migrated to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology on May 13, 2016.
Emily is a National Merit Scholar, a United States Presidential Scholar, a University of Arkansas Honors Fellow and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was regularly featured on both the Dean’s List and the Chancellor’s List during her time in Fayetteville.
Emily spent the summer of 2013 interning with Senator Mark Pryor in Washington, D.C., the summer of 2014 studying abroad in London, and the past few summers working for the Bishop & Bishop Law Firm. She has worked as a tutor, a teaching assistant, a research assistant, and a receptionist. In college, Emily served as Treasurer for both the Psychology Club and the Psi Chi Honors Psychology Club. She was a member of Mortar Board and an Honors College Ambassador.
Though trained in psychology, Emily has a fascination with the law that has been cultivated through her many years watching various family members grapple with it. She is excited to take this opportunity to work in the field.
